Deterministic Model for 100m Sprinting

A Deterministic Model for 100m Sprinter

The first performance criterion of the deterministic model is race time due to this being the main focus of a 100m sprint. A sprinter will aim to reduce their race time in order to improve their performance. This first principle can then be split into phases as shown. The race time can be split into start time, stride rate and dip speed. Stride rate can then be split into two principles; stride length and average stride time.

  1. Good, would you be able to decide on the mechanical principles to work on with this model.
